Honestly, between the way the book starts and the many similarities with Alessandra on a professional level, I had a moment where I wondered if it had nothing to do with her personally, right? Elena’s life is no less fascinating, because she makes it her mission and her passion to write her story so that the world finally learns the truth. The story revolves around Helena Ross, a romantic bestselling author who has been diagnosed with incurable brain cancer and has three months to live. It struck me as a “ghost writer” an extraordinary story of intrigue and deception that captured my attention and imagination the moment I discovered it. I always knew she was a good writer, but I never realized how incredibly talented she was until this book. I have read a few romance novels by Alessandra Torre, but for the first time I read something about her in a different genre.
